Fish Lake report?
« on: December 26, 2011, 05:06:11 PM »
Anyone been to Fish Lake Above Leavenworth yet? Looking for ice thickness and what is biting. I wanna take the kids up, long drive to find out the ice is thin! Thanks!

Lake Wenatchee info site says there was 3.5 to 5 inches of ice on the 22nd. Last couple of days have been warm and raining......So I don't know how the ice would be now. Probably pretty sloppy on top though. I am going to wait until the next cold snap before I try it......

Still some open water in the middle of the lake. with all this rain probably not going to be safe for a while yet. I never take the kids untill late january to be safe.

I saw people out fishing on Moses Lake this morning on my way to work. Ice look wet, not sure how they made it out there as the edges are not frozen. Looking forward to fish lake freezing!
