Ruger american rifle
« on: January 02, 2012, 09:35:51 AM »
Ruger has a new rifle out that looks like a Tikka mated with a TC venture and it shoots as good as they do!  WWW.gunblast.com or www.ruger.com :yike:

It kinda resembles a Tikka but it will never replace my Tikkas.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

I wonder what calibers will be available, and if it is still Ruger strong as far as the action is concerned.    Looks like a sweet gun.  Wonder if it will be available in stainless.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Ruger has long needed to answer the S&W, Remington, Savage Axis, Marlin XL series, with a feature packed entry level rifle. No show quality Walnut or deep polished bluing just pure function for a good price. Hopefully they'll expand the line to be SS with other choices as Marlin did.

i still like my Tikka better but the ruger they tested in Gunblast shot moa. Now if they make a stainless one in 6.5 creedmore I might be tempted to get one.

Interesting. It looks like it could be a good competitor for Savage and Tikka. I wonder what the MSRP is on one of those.

Personally, I usually go for tried and true over being an early adopter.
