I can't think of anything else.  Buddy was in our hunting area this weekend doing some scouting and saw a HUGE bull, 6X6 already and still growing.  Looks like he is going to have a set of ass scratchers!  Plus, I'm the only one in our group that drew an archery Quality Bull Tag  :IBCOOL:  I've also got several bulls already on my cams and I'm going back this weekend to check on them, plus set a stand or two.  I was just telling someone yesterday that I can't take it and just wished the next two months would be over and done so I can get to elk camp.  I was driving the dogs crazy this weekend practicing on my elk calls.  I also drew Valles Caldera in New Mex.  So, gotta get'er done here in first five days and then hit the road to New Mex. on the 10th for my hunt on the 14th thru the 18th!  It's killing me.  Yes, I'm an Elkoholic, and proud!

This year has been extra bad! After missing a shot I thought I should have made last year I am really anxious to get out there and make it happen this Sept!

I caught a chest cold a couple weeks back but the fever only last less than a day

I've got it. Tuned my broadheads over the weekend. Got a new block because the old one is shot through. Very ready.

I dont know what it is, maybe the nice weather  :chuckle: or the fact that im starting to see more animals out and about, but i am getting the itch for elk season to start. Its only 72 days away for me and I will be taking off for a week to hopefully connect on a nice rosie bull. I just wanted to see who else is getting the fever or the itch to start hunting again? And share some success photos and stories, just to get everyone even more fired up!

If you don't have the itch I would suggest you go to the doc.
