I just got back from checking my two cams and I have nice Bulls coming in at both sites, plus set up two more cams in areas w/lots of big bull sign.  One of last year's rubs was scraped 8 feet high, plus buddy sent me a pic of the bull that was in the area last week.  Really big DUDE already!  Can't wait to fill my eastside Quality Archery Bull tag!  Then, I'm off to New Mexico to hunt Valles Caldera 14th thru 18th of Sept. 

September can't come soon enough!

Went out yesterday to hang some cameras and do some scouting. the area I hunt is 2 hours from my house and so instead of getting up at 230 to be to my spot by sunrise, we went up the night before and slept in the pickup. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise, and a ton of elk. We saw over 60 elk which made the fever even worse. We also saw 5 big blacktail bucks throughout the day and around 25 different deer as well. I wish it was like this in september. I would of tagged out yesterday  :chuckle: :tup:

Checked my camera and hung my treestand yesterday.   I got probably 300 pics in the month it was up  :IBCOOL:.  Lots of little bull a few cows and spikes and 2 or 3 big shooter bulls now if i only had a bull permit.   Out of the 30 or so days it was up i have elk at least 25 of those days.

I got 688 pics :IBCOOL:.  Had elk coming for 11 days straight. I got the fever bad now!

i had 477 in 2 weeks when i pulled my card yesterday. you should come over to this side they were almost all spikes :bash: :bash: :bash:

I have one bull thats big big. Im not great at judging but im guessing 330ish.  Probably smaller than than that but 330 sounds good.

We have 2 bull permits in camp so after i whack my cow or spike opening day ill open it up for the others.
