decent buck from tonight
« on: August 11, 2008, 11:10:32 PM »
It was almost dark. Bit fuzzy but thought you would enjoy. With archery only 2 weeks away this buck is pretty brave.  :chuckle: What do you think 150-160?

Hard to tell from those pics but possibly 170. The mains look to be a little short but the rear forks look nice. He also has a weak spread, but might be able to make up for a little of that in mass. I would guess once the velvet is dropped he ends up in the158-160 range.

Great looking buck, have you been keeping an eye on him or did you just happen to see him on this occasion?

How did I know that was coming :chuckle:

I'm passing on him, you can't get the big ones if you keep taking the little ones. Sorry M-Ray, your shells are still in my pocket.
