Gringo, good thing the contest included "water wonders" because I don't think that one is going to qualify under "little critters."  Cool picture!

There are a lot of great photos in this month's contest, but I'll throw my hat in the ring anyway.  I'd heard this chukar a few times while I was doing my irrigation, the other night I had my camera with me and he jumped up on an old fence post and posed for the picture.
