I'll be up in the Hancock Snoqualmie over the next two weeks looking for likely spots.  Happy to make room in the Sub for any other permit holders (I wish it was a vehicle permit like the old days).  First year in the Hancock so if anyone feels like giving me a good idea I'd appreciate it.  I figure to head up the mainline and then work down finding berry patches in 3-4 year old reprod if I can until I hit Index.

That's a easy one. Just go sit at lake fury and watch the far bank. I can't count how many times I've been fishing and had bear come down to the lake.

I used to see them all over winthrop, but haven't hunted there in years. But I love doughnuts.  :chuckle:

I just came from my Dr visit about my ankle and he say's we're not going to do surgery. Now it's time for me to start rehabbing. Physical therapy will start next week. So it looks like the beginning of the season I may be able to get out and at least walk a little bit. Who Knows, maybe by September I'll be good to go! Doc seems to think I wont be 100% for 5 or 6 months though. I'll be happy with 50-60% for hunting season. Can anyone tell me where I might find a bear on a nice flat 100 yard trail?  :dunno:  Oh yea, will you drag it out for me too?  :chuckle:

Thought about inviting a couple people to camp. Going to scout in a couple day's. Already know were they hang out. Cant wait getting close. Rick

Last year my honey hole was full of vinegar. I hope it's sweetened back up this year!   :chuckle:

Its a long walk back to what would be my honey hole.  If i could only find a way to cross the river and hike up from the bottom.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous to have much land gated so no one can use it D-Rock. It's 10 miles from the gate to where I saw a ton of sign in the spring. There aren't many people who can or would hike in 10 miles and pack out a bear.

I know h20hunter is going to be tiered by the time he's done giving you a piggy back ride all the way back there.
