Sounds like you should buy a ready made then. As for me, I like the fact of relying on one build stout enough for adding an extension and hoisting an elk with no worries of failure.

we built our own, did two lopers at a time a few times on this trip! It comes apart and fits in the back of the truck. We hung 13 lopers from it this trip.
