A Marines going away party.
«
on:
July 14, 2012, 10:17:05 AM »
Well I was approached by 1 of the mechanics I work with the other day about doing a hog roast. He told Me that his son had enlisted in the Marines and would be leaving next week for boot camp.
Well I felt it was a least I could do to make this a special day for one of Our Younf warriors heading full steam ahead into battle. I said forsure. Well got up this morning at 01:00 and had the cooker up to temp and hog on by 01:30. In 2 hours the cooker still cooking we will be off to pull this young marines party off. here are a few pictures (Crappy cell phone pics) I am taking the Canon so I will post better pictures after the event.
A little snack for myself.
A little morning cocktail..
Oh and y new ink..
Dont know how He made his way in here, But my "Crotch Rocket"
Thanks for checking out the day.
Whitey..OUT!!

That is a great thing you are doing for that young man. Tell him to enjoy it that will probably be the best meal he has for the next several months. Semper Fi

Well the Young Marine was sent on his way. He is now going to come into being a fighting machine.
I did tell him that We all were proud of him.
The hog turned out great, but got to the stall point and hung there for what seemed like days.

Nope!! the Skykomish between Monroe and Sultan. Me and My bike mop that road up, love it.
You all take care.
I have to leave for Victorville Ca. in a few weeks and will be taking my street bike down in a you haul and riding it home at the end of that job. The job is suppose to last like around 25 days. Should be a nice ride home.
Stay tuned Im going to be posting some Go-Pro vids on here.

Nice job, Whitey. Well done.
I should've been a jarhead. All I got was a ride from dad to the bus station!
