Not the best picture but here's a picture of a grouse I saw while I was up in the mountains this past monday.

I saw only 2 that day. The one in the picture and a male ruffed grouse that I didn't get a picture of. I'm not sure if this year is good or bad for them but I sure hope it's good because they are good eatin. :drool:

im startin to think its gonna be a bad year for them cause i usually see a bunch along the gravel roads and ive only seen 1 in the past 6 months or so........i sure hope im wrong though.

I flushed 5 on Monday when I went out for an evining walk. The snow berries were ripe and they were loving it.

This was taken last weekend on our camping trip. Ther were three but they wouldn't all cooperate

Taken about a month ago, maybe longer. She had 6 babies with her.
