Barrel de-resonator by SVL

I am looking for a cheap way to accurize one of my rifles. I hand load but don't have the time to get down and gritty with my loads, I am at an 1.25" with one load I like, I was thinking about buying an SVL barrel deresonator. Has anyone tried one? What did you think of its effect on your load accuracy, did it improve even a little?

I always snickered to myself when I see them jammed on someone's barrel. It is just a personal dislike, I have never felt the urge and or the math has never come out right to justify hanging anything off any of my barrels other than a muzzle brake, flash hider or suppressor mount.

The best way, and is fairly cheap is to bed your rifles... I used steel epoxy on top of the aluminum bedding bedding block and went from ~1MOA down to just over .25MOA, as long as I do my part.  The stock I have in my rifle already has a floated barrel, so I didn't need to do that.  But floating your barrel and doing a bedding job on my rifle worked wonders.  I also took the time to bed my one piece scope rail, which also made a difference.  Right now I am shooting surplus DAG 7.62x51 and getting those numbers,  I cant imagine what I could get if I was making up my own loads for my rifle...

I would look on youtube for bedding videos... I did mine myself and spent less than $10...

Sent from my sniper hide...
