Pretty Good Blacktail
« on: July 23, 2012, 02:24:07 PM »
I came across this buck last year and never did seal the deal on him. Well, I found him again this year and he's definitely the buck I will be after again this year!

Oh hell yes!  Nice buck, bigger than the one I have my eye on!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Hmm guess that gives me another one to keep an eye out for if he's that big.  :chuckle: If only this guy was a lot closer to highway 6, it'd be a lot nicer pack out for sure. Luckily my cameraman has a strong back.  :chuckle:

My back is killing me all of a sudden :chuckle:

I don't think I have ever seen that big of a frame on a blacktail around here on the hoof or dead since I've been hunting.  Now for Tyson to figure out how to close the deal.
