trade ocean fish trip for Idaho elk info
« on: July 23, 2012, 10:02:18 PM »
I am trying to get some good leads on an archery elk hunt in Idaho for the end of Sept. I don't need a guide just some good intell to put me in the right area so I don't waste my 1 week I get to hunt trying to find the elk. I am helping my brother on his Blues archery hunt so I won't get to bowhunt unless I go out of state and Idaho is closest so thats where I am looking. I have a boat and all the gear to fish the ocean. We fished Neah Bay this last weekend and it is red hot fishing right now. Had probably a hundred coho/ kings to the boat in two days. Help me out and I will be happy to take you out fishing and send you home with plenty of fresh salmon. Scott/nwhunter

Yes that would work hopefully it will be as good as it is this year( at least right now). I go out for halibut in May/June then salmon or bottomfish through the summer.

I am not super familiar with the area but willing to do some looking and let you know what I am seeing where. Wouldn't hurt me to do a little walking around and looking
