I loved mine so much I bought another as a backup. I love the thumbhole stock and the Bighorn is a very accurate rifle.

I have one...but it's like 14 years old. It has killed a few deer and one cow elk. Going to have to get it out of the locker this year. Drew the multiseason deer.

Just picked one up last Friday. The guy at wholesale suggested the 250 grain bloodlines with two 50/50 triple seven pellets. Anyone know if this is a good load?

The Bighorn is younger twin to the Wolverine 209 which hits a minute of dinner with 260 grains over 4 30 grain compressed pellets (120 grains total) out to least 125 yards. The 250 grain load should perform well with 100 grains of compressed pellets. Take it to the range and find out. The 260 grain bullet unfortunately went out of production when Knight closed its doors a few years ago and I haven't seen them since. I bought enough at the time to keep me in business for a while, but I will eventually need to find another load.

Great to hear all of the positive comments. I have one on the way and am looking forward to a few days at the range.
Picked up a 50 with thumb hole stock. Now to work up a all lead load.
