Is there anyone who can tell me anything good about GMU 250 ??? Elk ,deer and camping info ....Please :rolleyes:

what time of year do you plan on hunting there?  There are alot more deer in that unit later on in there year.  Once there starts getting snow up high the deer come down there, its one of there winter areas.  I got a nice 4x4 buck out of there last year with my bow.

Well its open for early archery Sept 8th-21st   Any elk  :) looking at the Dinkelman area ....

There are very few elk in there, and that's the way the WDFW wants it, that being the reason for the "any elk" season. Even the general rifle season is open for any elk.

The any elk for early archery goes up into -- Gmu 247 (entiat) and GMU 243 (manson) -- are they all the same with very little elk??????

Yes, that is correct, and the farther north you go, the less elk you will find. I will go so far as to say that you would be extremely lucky to even find one single elk track in any of those units. Just take a look at the harvest reports and you'll see how few elk are killed in those units each year.
