full card in less than 3 days!
« on: July 29, 2012, 01:44:32 PM »
Went and checked some cameras yesterday. When I got to one of them, the area I put out the salt was completely bare dirt!  :yike: I thought for sure, after checking the camera to see that the card was full that there must have been cattle or something that came through. I sure was surprised when I checked the pictures to see that I got over 3000 pictures in under three days. They were all of the same bachelor group of bulls. They showed up under two hours after I set the camera too!

Too bad there's no shooters in the bunch. :yike:  (spike only area, I assume).  :(

Nice pics though.  8)
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Those were my thoughts exactly! Normally I start getting pictures of the cows and spikes in this area starting early august so I am hoping it holds true again this year. While the bigger bulls are fun to look at, eye candy is all they really are.  :bash:

My buddy has a camera a few miles away and he has been getting some cows and spikes so hopefully at least one works his way down towards my spot during the season!
