I don't want to start a huge debate but if your goal is to kill that bull be careful about calling too early too often :twocents:

I won't go into any area I plan on hunting and do a bunch of calling

any of you guys have your phone ring tone set to elk bugle?  Or deer rattling?  Or grouse drumming?

I got one that has 2 elk doing agressive challange bugles then at the end their fighting

Talking their way right in the back of indian trucks right now, been seeing them come out of there with a few bulls lately.

Talking their way right in the back of indian trucks right now, been seeing them come out of there with a few bulls lately.

my friend lives in greenwater the whiteriver unit and was scouting for bears on the cresttrail by crystal mt last monday and said 2 rag horn bulls were bugling hard and why so early the yo yos still have velvet

It's my understanding that majority of the Wetside Tribes seasons don't start til Aug. 1st to Sept. 15. :dunno:  Maybe I'm wrong and who knows, maybe you just happened to come across some poachers? :dunno:
