Game reg question
« on: August 10, 2012, 05:03:32 PM »
Looking at the regs, on the bottom of page 63 (spring black bear special permit seasons) it talks about submitting bear teeth (first premolar). Does this apply only for spring season or do you have to submit bear teeth for fall season as well? Thanks

Not just for spring bear, but any harvested bear. Good luck.

No you do not get them back. They use them to calculate age.
Good taxidermists have a supply of replicas. :chuckle:

Are they still doing that? I didn't get one on my last bear. Was told they were going to set it up so you could see the ages online with your WILD ID. Of course that hasn't happened yet.

I havent goten a postcard from my last five but the results show up on the internet.I think they stoped that a while back. The tooth you give them is so small I wouldent worry about getin a replica.
