Too hot to scout.

4th weekend in a row.  Went solo today and got a little overheated.  Did manage to find what I was looking for. ;)
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Picking huckleberries is already on the agenda.  No more 1500' climbs in this heat.

Just got back 20 min ago ...found lots of good sign but it was hot ! Did not see any elk but we left before prime time but they are definately around ...getting a little pumped to try some new areas ! :tup:

So is it a good thing that I have a buncha bulls on my trailcameras and I found a bunch of damp muddy areas with wallows all over?

YEAH ...Thats what I am saying too... the best area I found yesterday was in a swampy area ..thicker than hell ...but I have tree stands  :chuckle: :chuckle:
