I agree, younger bear. If you don't have a rug, shoot it! If you have one, let him grow up some more. I saw a similar sized bear a month ago up by Mount Bonaparte when I was there. He was sniffing around my cabin lot.

Well I dont think its going to be my first bear, but my buddy really wants it so I am going to let him have a shot. were going out tonight a couple of rookies on their first bear hunt :chuckle:. Thanks for all the input guys  :tup:

id say 125 150, im no expert and dont claim to be but it looks to be a young bear to me

Well my buddy got his first bear!!! he'll be working on it for awhile skinning it he is going to get a rug done

the tongue is not very pleasent sorry about that! but it was dark and hard to get the camera to focus much less see how the picture was turning out
