I'm sure we will leave plenty Maverick. I will give you all the info i find out after our hunt  ;)  There are some great bulls in the unit. We will hunt hard a see what happens.

I feel bad for anyone that got drawn for Mt View this year.  They just posted signs next to the unit that they are doing a 4000 acre burn there sometime next month.  It will be great for the elk next year but not so good for this year.  I don't know why they couldn't do it in the spring.

I talked to the USFS employee about it earlier this month and the money for this project is coming from other sources including the RMEF. And they have a deadline in Feburary for the grant.
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!
