oh man he is cute..... they eat bugs thus they are friends of mine  and toads are toxic I wouldn't eat one...well their skin has toxic properties or their glands in their skin...I am sure someone who knows more will correct my mistakes I just know I wont be licking or eating toads......

as long as you aren't licking them you should be just fine

as long as you aren't licking them you should be just fine

the big lumps behind a toads eyes are the poison glands, if you squeeze them hard you'll see a thick milky stuff come out, that's the poison. about 90% of the time they wont due it unless it is life threating to them.

nevermind, i didnt look good enough ii just figured it was a bull frog, yeah i dont know if i would eat that warty thing, but just your average big ole bull frog are sure good eatn.... use to get a ton of them when i was a kid and fry the legs up dipped in warm BBQ sauce
