Did not read the sign? Did you See the barriers slid aside for the forest workers to enter?

I didn't see a sign.   really.

I typically pay enough attention to see such a sign, and if I saw it I would have complied.   Was it down by the barriers (the ones that don't barricade the rad because they're off to the side)?

Although I came in from the top side and exit through the bottom side, so maybe that why I didn't see a sign.   IDK.    :dunno:

I read this yesterday The "Sign" is a simple faded typewritten paper stating  road between the barrier and the top is closed to traffic due to public safety  which is a crock and sort of stated that severe fines would occur. Of course the fancy new Discover Pass signs are everywhere, And for the first time where I camp  At the old Ranger Station on the 1500.  Hunt-wa Guys stop in  if you want to commiserate!  Big Motorhome  with a Seagull will be there till end of Season   BTW Came over Chinook at 1:30 sun  6 in snow on top and snowing hard 34 deg and that was before the storm really blew through snow level seemed like about 4500'
