No this is a different topic. I just had questions in the other topic.

So.....I will be hunting in Skagit County in a field with 4 floater decoys  :chuckle:

Scout and find what fields they are using or crossing over and try to get permission to set up.  Set out your decoys and layout blind, ditch line, or concealable area.  Lots of young birds that have never been shot at.

OK, Here it goes.  New to goose hunting.  Can't call fer crap. Just want to work the dog.  He has His HRCH title Just don't know where to go, I have put the time in and don't stand a chance against the more experienced hunters.  I just cant call all that well and have no private ground to hunt. So....  Would like to get him on a goose or two,but don't care if I shoot or not. He has picked up thousand's of ducks just not a goose. Moving to Wisconsin at the end of the month and would like to get some time in the field.  Any help I can get this week would held.

Hey guys,
Just had several hunters ask us to hunt, but I had to break the news to them.  The Yakima reservation isnt open for the early season goose.  Here is the regs http://www.ynwildlife.org/huntingseasonandregs.php in case I screwed up ( I hope I did) and it is open. :dunno:

You didn't screw up, it is closed and this includes the Yakima River from Union Gap to Mabton, both sides and all islands.

I was told by the landowner I asked in Wapato this afternoon and double checked with Sandra at the Yakama Nation HQ.  On to plan D!
