I have a big problem!!!!

Well I guess I don't have a problem cause I have the Mission Muzzy tag this year, but my buddy who will be hunting my stand for deer has a BIG PROBLEM.  I have had many shooter bucks this year coming to my stand on a consistant basis.  Two weeks ago I changed my feet to accommodate a late summer / early fall diet.  I went away from salt and added sweet grain and cob block.  Today I checked my camera (1 week before the archery opener) and baited it.  Got home and checked my pics just to find 5 bear camping out under my feed dispenser.  They are climbing my tree and *censored*ting everywhere.  I had two shooter bucks still, but by no means are they there on a regular basis.

Well that sucks at least he can possibly fill a bear tag.  Better than me were I had 3 shooters and of course they have now disappeared when I was getting them on camera everyday..

by law once you know theres a bear hitting your feed you have to pull it . trust me on this you can get in big trouble if you hunt over that bait and a bear comes in .

Only if you shoot it within a certain perimeter of the bait I thought?

I thought you were able to hunt it, just not shoot the bears.  It would be impossible to pull the bait, it would take an excavator beings that the stumps are laden with it.  Needless to say it may not be worth hunting anyway.  Good thing I drew a tag this year or I would be pissed.

Man I am an idiot or had a dumb moment.  Don't fill the bear tag with the bait there..

Yeah, my buddy doesn't even hunt bear....he thinks they are useless.   Now I really need to know if I need to clean the bait??  I guess this has never been a problem before.  In two years of hunting this stand I have only had 3 bears on cam and they were just passing through.  I would think as long as you are not hunting bear it would not be an issue.  My buddy does not even have a bear tag.

Modify the bait site all you want now that you have proof of bear feeding there..., you are now obligated not to hunt bear there, just deer/elk.....
