Woodland WA meat locker?
« on: August 15, 2008, 06:13:39 PM »
Hi all,

Does anyone know of a butcher or meat market in or around Woodland WA. that has a locker to store game in? I will be hunting with my dad and if one of us gets an Elk I'm sure it's going to be to hot to keep it hanging for to long and driving home to the Seattle area is just to far to go and then drive back to St. Helens.

Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

Take your game up to Bolars Meat Cutting in Castle Rock.  Great People, you won't be sorry.

Premium Smoked meats is in woodland wa.

On the street right behind the Oaktree.

Award winners!!   Think their beer dogs and jerky took first place at a national contest last year.

Both Matts and Bolars make great  beer dogs.

Thanks everyone for the names! Matt's is the only one I can't find contact information for but I think one of the other two will do just fine.

I have been without Elk meat in my freezer for two years now  :bash: hopefully that will change this year   :)

Have a great season and thanks again!

Matt's meats is owned by Matt Franett 1-360-414-1073. He's a full service slaughter, meat processor, but I don't think he just hangs meat. Give him a call I might be wrong, I use him for burger, beer dogs and pepperoni. He does a real good job and everything is vaccuum packed.

He good enough that he dosn't list his phone number.   But I'm glad you just did.   I'm gonna take some  meat to matt and some to premium smoked meats. See which dog I like best.   Been to lazy to drive up the  valley and the wife washed my cell.   Lost all my numbers.    Matt is good people.   Has always been treated me right.

Thanks
