I recomend this set up. http://www.firearmsprostore.com/nutnfancysultimateheadlampkit.aspx     never using anything else. its a 4Sevens Quark MiNI 123 LED Flashlight on a Fenix Headband Kit (holds MiNi and 2 extra batteries) with 10- 1500mAh CR123A Lithium Batteries. max lumens 210, min lumens 5, longest runtime 235hr, shortest run time  1hr 20min.

Forget the Icon and get the Storm from BD. You get rid of the bulk and still have plenty of light, my buddy and I both use it for climbing, he actually switched from the icon.

I went with the black diamond icon.  Mainly for the 200 lumens.  I got tired of hiking out of deep timber and not being able to see more than 15 feet with the old headlamp only to find a good game trail just off to my side that I could have taken.

 I have used the same ICON for at least 4 years now probably 5. I have not found a weakness.  I run mine at full tilt most of the time.  Have used it a lot in heavy rain with no issues.  AA batteries are a big + for me.  Almost all of my gear runs on AA's.  :twocents:
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.
