Im @ 27lbs for my day pack! 3 liters of  water,lunch,game bags,medical kit,survival stuff,knife set,extra batteries for everthing,calls,and an energy drink when i get too tired to walk out. I still think i forgot something!

Who cares as long as you have what ya need?  I dont, 20lbs, 50lbs its all good.   What your pack weighs hiking out is the important stuff!

Mine is heavier than I want it to be.  THinking about dumping camera and extras to go along with.   I ahve enough big buck pics, do I really need another?

My elk pack is always very heavy. The dang bags I have to keep the blow flies off suck! I am around 35lbs.

Starts to add up when you are packing it quite a ways When we do our rifle camp its not a concern, sometimes I feel like I need an extra truck he he.

You should try 1 liter of water and a water filter. I drink a lot of water but 3 liters puts me to shame. I hiked in the snow 5+ miles to 9500' on mt adams with a 2 day pack and didnt consume 3L of water.
I'll be about 40lbs for 4 days with the rifle included.

  Holy crap. My pack is 60 lbs. (on the way in), and I way 140  And I am not kidding.

Did a 62 mile hike in the bob marshal and pack weighed 72#. My friend thought I was nuts but he sure liked my p nut mm's. 

If I am hunting for a week though I keep my weight around 50# and that is a tent and spotting scope, and game bags.

i am at about 40lbs with 3l of water in my bladder and enough goods for a 7 day bivy hunt.

Usually hunt outta camp and my pack is around 40-50 depending on weather and deer or elk season.....
