C-post is not a joke.  Plenty of pics to prove it.
It's a TIKKA thing..., you may not understand.

I know where some big bulls are in the unit but it is a little bit to late to be asking. I did see a 7x8 running around yesterday somewhere up in the woods. Not sharing any info. good luck.

That's. Cold....

Thanks sled,  I feel fortunate that I got the tag with just 8 points.  Hopefully you get yours this next year.

In your scouting, don't neglect to go high.

P.S.   The Pacific Coast Trail is pretty high.

Hey, carp, funny thing is ive killed two bucks on cpost!   Years ago

Maybe you are lost. This is a bull thread not a buck thread. I am tired of seeing all this c post crap when everyone is saying it to mess with new members and junk threads up.

I get that C-POST is an inside joke among members here, probably meant for all the people asking where to go to get a big bull.  It doesn't bother me, experience has its privileges and I am the new guy here.  But from what I have heard you can sit in your lawn chair and pick out the elk you want to shoot as they pass  by at C-POST. ;)

It's not once in awhile and it's on way to many threads. It's going to change very soon trust me on that one. Many people are tired of it. I have got messages from people telling me how old it is getting. Wanting to quit because of the crap and driving new members away. I have got messages on this very thread from people thanking me for saying it

I am not coming down on you for helping people. The fact that it turns way to many threads to crap and some new members leave because of bad info and the way they are treated.

You have a great tag and with the forest service closing little naches road so much there aren't nearly as many hunters or hunting pressure on the elk in there this year.  So while it hurts the archers, it should help the modern guys.   Good luck!
