  If i knew the area id help.  I spend my elk time on the manastash, tammarack springs area.  Know that well.  I always try to help when someone has a tag like that.  You never now it could be a once in a lifetime for some.  Im working on 11 pts next year.  Good luck!

I get that C-POST is an inside joke among members here, probably meant for all the people asking where to go to get a big bull.  It doesn't bother me, experience has its privileges and I am the new guy here.  But from what I have heard you can sit in your lawn chair and pick out the elk you want to shoot as they pass  by at C-POST.

I have got messages from people telling me how old it is getting. Wanting to quit because of the crap and driving new members away. I have got messages on this very thread from people thanking me for saying it

I am not coming down on you for helping people. The fact that it turns way to many threads to crap and some new members leave because of bad info and the way they are treated.

You have a great tag and with the forest service closing little naches road so much there aren't nearly as many hunters or hunting pressure on the elk in there this year.  So while it hurts the archers, it should help the modern guys.   Good luck!
