My  :twocents: - deer and elk season opened up there 7 and 3 days ago respectively.  If you don't know where you're headed up there by now (or a month ago), you'll be on a scouting/hiking trip for the rest of your bow season.  Hit an area you know and spend the off-season getting to know a new area.

I know you can get in IEP through Newman Lake access. You can ride ATVs in there too without any B.S. if you follow their rules.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I've spent a fair amount of time up there via day mt Spokane road.  It's thicker than hell with clear cuts.  I've yet to see an elk and haven't seen a lot of deer.  But again it's really thick.  The road is bad and basically turns into a jeep trail.   I'm sure with some time and scouting you can get into some nice animals.  You would probably be better off hitting public land up north

I got my elk already, but have a multiseason deer burning a hole in my pocket.  Was thinking about hitting the Inland Paper some of my days off this week that were set aside for my elk season.  At this point, I'm in for the hunt, so no big deal that I haven't scouted yet.  Business partner hunts a spot up there.
