My game camera got raped by a bunch of horses!
« on: September 08, 2012, 07:46:06 PM »
Went to check one of my cameras up on the property and found my camera, licks and alfalfa pillaged by horses. Who's horses? Who knows? I have never seen them before and they weren't there when I checked the camera and I haven't seen them since. They tore up the licks,  sucked down all the alfalfa and broke the game camera. I guess they were rubbing on my camera post? A serious hit and run.

Before The horse rape photo's.

During the rape.

The after math of applied horse mayhem.

It was a older game camera, I tried to squeeze as much life out of it as I could, it wouldn't keep time. I replaced it today, hope this one works out. They sure aren't giving them away. :o

There's your proof, if it hadn't been for the pictures. I would have swore it was Bigfoot!

They sure seem well fed - do you have a bunch of neighbors with the same setup?   :chuckle:

This is the last picture the camera took before it bit the dust for whatever reason??? I found the camera as pictured/ angled and none of the photo's are angled, the last photo is square.

Strange they didn't get into my Alfalfa stack, 200 yards or so away?

Free range my AZZ, read the RCW's. Private property is private property, I don't even have to have it fenced. If I wanted to be a jerk, I could hold the owners  liable.  I could hold the live stock until the damages are settled.

How do you know the Moultrie quit working? Maybe the batteries were just dead?

The batteries are good, we already trouble shot it. To try to get it going before I left. Those batteries out of that camera are now in another camera at my water trough.
