I tried posting a pic yesterday but computer wouldn't let me, guess I have to resize. The shot was 28 yards, and a little far back but he was quartered away , and when he ran down a little draw and stopped facing the other direction , I could see my broadhead sticking out behing his shoulder. I took a another shot but shot right over him. He wandered up hill another 30 yards into some 5-6 year old trees where I could just see his rear and antlers slowly swayin back and forth. He disappeared out of sight and I watched and listened for 20 minutes or so...nothing. I backed out and let him sit for 2 hours just in case. When i came back to track he was ten yards from where I saw him last. He's not biggest in the land but I put many many miles on my boots to earn it and i couldn't be happier.
