Ryan's Chowder Ridge (WA State) archery mountain goat hunt - September 2012

Last I heard they were heading back in with ropes and shovels to try and get down to him in the crevasse.  Haven't heard if they made it out yet...

They made it out ok, since Ryan and I were the only two to know where they was we had planned to let It go no later than this morning before being conserned.  I called my uncle and they are out.  The billy he took is big, at least looked big through the scope.  Ryan and I spotted it first thing Saturday morning also, but there was no chance at it with bow.  Can't wait to see it, I know he had to wait him out a long time before the goat got in a good position for a shot, the goat slid down a glacier over a 1000 feet and into a big crack, theyes had to go back up and dig him out.  Glad they are ok.

Great job on both animals. I would of thought our weapon choice would of been reverse. A goat with a bow.. Awesome
