Sevengill, Sixgill, and Thresher Shark fishing Ban
« on: September 22, 2012, 12:53:15 PM »
Here is the link for public comment for the Shark fishing Ban.  We would really appreciate any help we could get, by posting your comments on why this ban is premature and with out significant data to support it.  We would love the fishery to become Catch and Release only, so that we can continue to learn about, and enjoy these beautiful fish. wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations/rule_proposals/comments/proposal.php?id=133 Thanks

In my opinion,

The only reason they want ban it, is because they have not figured out a special license yet, to make more money off it... plain and simple... the money whores at WDFW want cash... so if you send them enough money, they will give you just about anything...

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Just sent in my comments to WDFW asking them to not make decisions that are not supported by science.  I went on to suggest a catch and release fishery that would allow recreational angling and prevent over fishing, suggesting this option as a "win-win" solution.
