Have you ever noticed how a lot of your pics never look like how you remember them, how the clouds were kind of 3D yet your picture makes them look blah? Well thats because a camera/lens can not capture all the shading/aperture that the human eye can in one shot, but it can capture all those shades/depths with seperate shots. By bracketing the shot you make the camera take multiple shots all in order. The second pic is actually 3 different images, one under exposed by 2/3rds, one neutral and one over exposed by 2/3rds. HDR software is needed to layer the images over each other, creating the final image.
looks like a pretty lightwieght setup with that paratarp...how much does that wiegh with rope stakes and tarp? great pictures Phool!
