??Tradition Vortex??

I went in to buy a spare breach plug and nipple and I dont see what im looking for so I ask the guy working for little help. He hands me a breach blug and nipple.The breach says right on the package not for use in break opens and the nipples are completely different.
I question him on it and he tells me these are the only replacement breaches traditions sell and the nipples are compatible with that breach.
Has anybody else ran into this or used this set up or is this a crock?

He is wrong the traditions site lists like 3 of them. I have the tracker which uses the thunder dome breach plug. I think the vortek uses the accelerator. The nipples are not interchangeable.

Yeah the nipples are no ware close to being interchangeable.

do you have the vortek magnum or the older one that shoots #11's

if it's the number 11's

It is the Vortex Mag w/musket cap

well in that case just email the tech dept at tradtions and she will give you the exact numbers, that's what I did.  Or do what I did and change it back to number 11 breech

I wouldn't change the nipple to a #11 if it came with a musket because i have read in a couple of places that doing that may cause misfires just my

Yeah, I have no intentions of changing it to a #11.
I have heard to many bad stories, not going to take those chances.
