Last year I ran into some Moose sign up by Loop Loop Pass. At first I thought "Holy Crap that's got to be the buck of my dreams!"
I took a picture to show my hunting buddies back in camp. When I got back two the truck I pulled out my iPnone to show my buddy, he pulls out a sandwich ziplock bag with the same sized poo in it, lol.

After laughing we agreed we were pretty pathetic.

It was not until later we found out it was moose poo, lol

Seen some moose turds near loup loup on Rock Lake road. My dad saw one on the hoof up above salmon meadows near conconully.

I saw a cow moose in the pond at Rainy Pass a few years ago. I had one frame left in my camera. When I took the pic it autofocused on the sign stating mileage distance to Mazama and Newhalem and the moose looked like a stump in the photo! It was a treat to see one up there. Thanks for sharing.

Bone we went to the end of 30 mile last January on the snowmobiles and ran into a huge bull (no horns) standing in the road there was over 2 feet of snow and he just trotted off the road as we passed but you could see he had trails going to every bush. I'm sure he stayed the whole winter up there. Bowhunter when did you see the elk? I have not seen her for 2 years now.

I've never seen the elk myself but my brother saw her in July just outside of town.
