I know, I was outside of Cle elum heading out for the muzzy opener. Just happened. Cops cut the antlers off and ditched the deer. What a waste. The deer was in great shape. I thought maybe a hungry family could of used some meat.  :bash:

Since its cooled down I have seen 4 road kill deer,10+ raccoons smeared everywhere. What a waste! >:(

In some states you can get on a list and when a deer is hit the troopers call whoever is next on the list and say come get him...either way the meat isn't really wasted beetles and yotes and birds gotta eat too

Sorry, I don't care about yotes, birds or beetles!  There are enough rats out there for them to fill their needs.   :twocents:

dont know how many of you have butchered road kill, im no expert, the 2 i have dressed were toast, hit front shoulder and all meat including opposite hind quarters was like jello, i know some are saved but ones ive seen there was nothing to eat, thats still a waste
