buying tag ?

  I'm a waterfowler so forgive  me guys. This is going to be my sons second year of hunting, and he wants to go deer hunting this year. So heres the ? we are going to hunt some property over in the spokane area. We just got notified the host of the hunt wants to do it during the late season dates instead of the oct 13th opener. Do i have to buy our tags before the oct 13th opener, or can i wait and do it before the late season opens. It would be nice to hold on to the $ a little longer.

You can buy your general tag over the counter on and up to the last legal day of hunting. Good luck and don't forget to post pics of the young man with his trophy.
