Observatory A Rifle BIG BULL TAG! (340,342)
« on: July 16, 2008, 10:41:38 PM »
I have been trying for a big bull tag for 8 years. This is the first year that I have put in for rifle tag, the rest have been bow. I figured that since I had put in so much time I should get a rifle tag out of it. Now what I actually got the tag. Besides using a rifle this year I was crazy enough to try a new area. I usually hunt the Bumping or better yet the Little Naches, but I didn't get drawn there. I will gladdly exchange info about these areas for info about Observatory A, I have shot several elk in the other units. In fact when I was in college I shot 5 elk in 5 years, they had my pics lined up for a while at Whistling Jacks over by the Naches. What unit should I hunt in even for my new tag? :bash:

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

MANASTASH DUDE!!!! In my opinion 100 X's better than umptanum unless u can get access to some very private land. There are huge bulls up manastash and there is lots of good country. Good luck!
