In the Emergency Room instead of Mountain
«
on:
October 13, 2012, 01:06:29 AM »
Today suppose to be my wife's first hunt ever. We left Yakima at 7:30pm for Pend Oreille County to hunt deer opener. As soon as we got into Spokane she told me she was in pain, five minutes later she virtually collapsed in the truck. Now we're in the emergency room and don't know what's going on. After some extreme heavy meds she's still asking if we go up the mountain in the morning. Wow, what a trooper..
All I care about is that she gets help and than, well will see. Prayers are sure appreciated!!!

Thank God you were in a big town and not way out in the hills!
Prayers to you and her!
Hopefully it's just a kidney stone or something. Those things can hurt like heck

Just let her know that it's common to have sharp pains when entering Spokane. Makes me sick every time I have to. Best cure is to leave Spokane but, even then, the recovery time is a few days
On a serious note, I hope everything turns out ok and that she recovers fully and soon. What hospital are you at?

Thanks you all for thoughts and prayers!!! It was scary, she had a Gall-bladder attack. Thanks God I was only 5 min from Providence Hospital in Spokane. She's better after a few shots of morphine, yikes!!! I've never seen her in so much pain, she gave birth to our three kids and I was there for all of them, natural birth and last nights ordeal was 10 times worse she said. I was freaked out
