I was going to purchase some more arrow shafts to increase my supply for late season. I am wondering what people think of the Easton Bloodline arrow? I plan on getting bare shafts so I can put my own spin on things and was looking at Fusion vanes. Does any one have any feedback on those as well? Any advice or reports is much appreciated.

i looked at but there GPI is  way to light for me.  I think there 7.1

I would be using the 330 spine ones. they are listed at 8.7 GPI. They would be somewhere between 410-420 with BH. More towards the 410 end of things I'm thinking. However I did back off from 70 LBs draw in the early elk season. Thought about it for awhile and the wife shot her elk in 2011 at 44lbs draw and darn near a pass through on it with somewhere around a 330 grain arrow at 34yds. I started saying to myself "self why are you making it hard on myself?". So readjusting a little.

Loki- Do you like the fusion vanes? Looked at some vane reviews and they seemed to have good overall performance during testing.

I liked the lower profile and shape.  I just couldn't get them to pattern as well for me as the 4" duravanes.  However, it did turn out I still had a little tuning to do on the bow and have not tried them since then.

I did have some issues with them sticking to the shafts, but then I started leaving them overnight for the glue to fully cure and seemed to eliminate that problem.  Superglue did not seem to work well but it doesn't work well on my 4 inchers either.

I can drop a dozen to you in the mail and you can try them.  I might try a few again just to see now that I am tuned better.
