I found having a son right before the season starts really puts a damper on the amount of hunting you get to do. lol

Found a deer.

Then I shot it.

Then I lost it.

1.5 hours...searching.

Then I found it again.

True story.  He only went 75 yards but doubled back without a single drop of blood-but that's muzzleloading for you, never found a drop of blood from any shot, deer or bear.

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I found that E. Wahington has so many 2 points its unreal!  Most of the bucks I saw hanging in camps were 2x3 ( barely). Wyoming from here on out for me. I also found that someone in Washington thinks a orange hat is 400 square inches of hunters orange.

I found a dead 4x4 muleys rack. Probly 23-25 inches wide. Hate that you can't pick them up  :bash:

Dad found 2 4 point sheds.

Found a pocket knife that made it through a burn (minus the handle) and found a can of grizz at 7000' where I would've sworn no human had ever set foot before on a steep ridgeline.

You cannot pick up mule deer sheds?  I didn't even think about looking up the law about picking up sheds...

You can pick up sheds, but if they are attached to the head, you cannot pick them up.

I found this up on a mountain NE of Mazama.

I figured he was a fellow hunter. I paid my respects while there.
