Unit 18 Idaho Deer
« on: October 19, 2012, 05:52:32 PM »
Headed that way here in about a week.  The plan is to hunt the last week or 10 days of the season.  I have been over there looking around a few times....but haven't scene anything too outstanding.  Looking for a mule deer or a whitetail.  Should be fun....and steep!

Thanks!  Looking for a 150-160 mule deer.  Hopefully it happens!

Steep doesnt even being to describe that country.  You should be able to find a 150+ buck in there.  Someday i would like to draw that tag.

Thanks, should have clarified.  My dad drew the mule deer tag.  I have an OTC whitetail tag.  Did your girlfriend have the mule deer tag?  Did she get a good buck?  I love unit 18....maybe I will draw it some year.  Would love to see a double drop or a 7x8!

she had the mule deer tag..I had it last year...she took a smaller 3x4 but it was here first ever mule deer hunt and rifle hunt. The 7x8 I think is the 4x8 that was running around up where we were last year
