I plan to post my photo of my Slick Trick failure.  it hit rib bent and fell out.  I have used them in the past with good results.  fortunately i had some Muzzys i changed to and had a nice kill on my buck.  anyone else had penetration problems with slick tricks?  Some really impressive elk kills posted so far

2012

2011

2009

I've also taken a couple of does as well but don't have any pics of them.  They were all taken with 125 GR magnums.  They work good for me!

I plan to post my photo of my Slick Trick failure.  it hit rib bent and fell out.  I have used them in the past with good results.

This isn't meant to bash, but just a general comment, but I think every broadhead manufacturers product will fail at some point.  I've used Wasp's, Steelforce, Slick Tricks, Muzzy's, Montec's and a couple others I can't recall at the moment.  Every one of them I've had fail in one way or another.  They all got the job done but the result afterwards is a pretty hammered broadhead.  Most of them were bent and broken blades, but that's to be expected.

The one that really surprised me was the one piece Montecs.  I had a blade break on one.  It could've been one that got through the quality control people though.  Still... did the job.

Last years elk. 20yds quartered away. Busted through a rib as it entered, quartered up through both lungs, busted through the offside shoulder blade and stuck in the hide. The head looked perfect and I killed two more deer with the same head that year. The blades looked dulled up but are still good enough to he used as practise blades. LOVE MY SLICK TRICK 125 GR MAGNUMS!!!

The dreaded frontal shot/strong quartering towards with a 100 grain slick trick at 32 yard and this guy was down in 30 yards.
