24 Hrs !

I'm talking on the phone in my backyard last night and some coyotes start yipping in the distance.  Then a young dog starts in about 250 yards from me :chuckle:  He keeps it up and the person on the phone can hear it and asks "is that a coyote?"  So I yell at the dog and let him know he has 48 hours and he gets quiet........only to wait about 2 min and start challenge barking me  :chuckle: :tup: :chuckle:

He's lucky he didn't keep it up too long.  He may of had to be sacrificed to get the dust out of my barrel.  At least this way he can serve as a foundation to "the pile"

BTW, anyone hear pelt prices for the fall?

I have only heard 20 bucks for a good pelt, not sure if there has been any changes from last year.

Wow....You had clubs and spears?? Man how technology has changed over the years. Wish we had those when I started killin' coyotes, we had to use our good looks to draw them in and a strangle hold to choke them to death.... Man how times have changed, at least we didn't screw up any pelts back then  :dunno:

A good place to get info on pelt prices is Fur Fish and Game magazine.
They have all kinds of info on buyers.
