Now I have a big 4x4 blacktail teasing me.  Hmmmmm... Choices, do I go East for muleys or whities or stay closer to home for a big old blacktail?  Gotta do a lot of thinking over the next few weeks.

I have a couple areas i wanna go to, but being close by to a spot called Tonga ridge i want to investigate. Has anyone of you been up hunting in or around this spot?

204 or 209/215 on public lands. Depends on the snow...
I haven't seen anything great yet, but got a few little bucks on the cameras.

I hope this 3x3 starts showing up a bit earlier for my wife's Oregon late season. It is the best buck on cam so far. We have a smaller buck in another spot showing up in the morning. I have to bring the card home to download those pics.
Join a credible hunting organization, participate in it, and take a kid hunting. Member of most hunting organizations.
