Honestly your best bet is to call the WDFW office and speak to someone in upland management. They will free of charge, send you a list of licensed farms in Washington State. This will ensure that you buy your birds from a licensed farm

, being a licensed farm the birds will have the correct testing to be legally released in our state. BE SURE YOU GET AND KEEP THE GARMFARM RECEIPT THAT YOU WILL GET FROM A LICENSED FARM. That way when/if you are questioned you will have proper documentation. All birds you release if you plan on hunting must be banded or otherwise marked to prove they are not "native".
