NCstar Mark IV
« on: September 01, 2008, 10:32:23 AM »
Has anyone owned this scope? I went to gun shows and saw some dealers promoting some less expensive models of this brand. They seem to be cheaply made. But I am not sure whether the Mark line will be better. Any feedback?

NC Star has such a bad reputation that I don't know of anyone that would put out good money to even try one out.  If they ever built a good scope they would be smart to change the name before they put it on the market.

There are some decent inexpensive scopes out there, K-4 and K-6 Weavers can be found for $110. new Bushnel Banners and Trophies
Sightron S-1's and Nikon Prostaffs, Mueller APV's and Swift Preimiers work also.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

My son bought a NCstar for his AR, he did not get 30 rounds out of the barrel and the scope gave up.  He took it off and placed it in the trash
Progressives are coming for your guns.
What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.
