Palouse Tag Holders - Too Bad!
« on: November 01, 2012, 10:14:51 AM »
I can't be 100% sure how true on the where abouts, but here is the info I recieved in a text message sent to me from my bother (Shawn):

"Shawn, this pic was sent to me yesterday by an installer that works for me.  Road kill by Colfax."

Was this pic really taken by Colfax? I don't know. Can anybody identify those yellow lines or the broken white line?  It looks like an eye guard and g2 were broken off in the collision. Even worse,  the Buck's life was taken and now the meat will be wasted; not to mention where will the rack will end up?

I got confirmation from my brother that the story on the location is 100% true.  Now its on the internet, so now you can definitely consider it true.

Fly4fish, my dad is the one that sent that text to your brother Shawn. The story and location are correct.

Countryboy,

Thank you for verifying the information.  That is a really neat buck.  Your dad is lucky to have been able to see it, even if it was dead on the road.  I wonder how long those antlers stayed attached to the head?  Tell your Dad thanks for sharing.  Amazing how  quick "a million words" can be spread these days.

Now this is a nice WT.  What a shame that he has to go like this!  Whatever hit him, I bet he made some damage with his rack!
